Dear Parents and Families of Year 11 students,
Please find below the timetable for the mock exams, which will take place in the final two weeks of this half term, from Monday 3rd February to Friday 14th. This will be the final set of mock exams before the real GCSE examinations begin in May. We encourage all students in Year 11 to continue revising at home and to attend additional study sessions, such as Learning Lab after school and D6 each Saturday, to give them the best chance of success.
Final grades for this round of mock exams will be given to students on Tuesday 11th March, after they have been marked and moderated by teaching staff. However, as we are nearing the real exams and to allow us to make the best use of the remaining time this year, teaching staff will begin conducting mock feedback sessions before the 11th, so students will have an idea of how well they have performed and, most importantly, where they can improve even further.
After the half term, we will be inviting parents back in to join us for our final Teacher-Student Led Conference, where you can speak with your child’s teachers directly, and students can discuss their progress based on this round of mock exams. Further details on this will be communicated before the half term break.
If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Best wishes,
Mr. Voltaire and the Year 11 Team
