Students take part in an extensive curriculum in key stage 3 which allows them to build their knowledge and practical ability from Year 7 to Year 9.
At key stage 4 students will take core PE. During core PE students will pick an option for a 4 week block. We offer this to provide students with as many different sporting opportunities as possible and that link to the wider world.
At key stage 4 students will study an extra GCSE as part of leaders of their own learning. We offer BTEC tech award in sport which allows students to achieve a Level 2 qualification from Pass – distinction*. Students are taught through classroom and practical based sessions and sit a number of assessments over the 2 years.
Our curriculum is very diverse and offers students the opportunity to develop their skills, leadership and health and fitness.
